About Us
Congratulations on taking steps towards Being The Change required to alter the face of health care. Alternative Healing Arts Center is located in Tucson, Arizona and is co-owned by Jennifer Sandoval and Shri Drake. Jennifer and Shri's vision includes overseeing the deployment of consolidated and networked facilities across the world specializing in various healing modalities, education, training, research, and health care reform. Combined they have over 30 years experience in working with alternative healing and energy modalities.
Jennifer is a licensed acupuncturist with twenty years background in Shiatsu and Reflexology. She owns her own practice and specializes in acupuncture, Eastern herbs, and qigong. She currently studies ZY Qigong under Master Ming Tang Xu. Jennifer is currently teaching her fourth year at Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Shri has been studying medical qigong for ten years and has a background in massage therapy and reiki. She is completing her PhD's in Natural Health (pending dissertation) and Holistic Nutrition and has herbalist certifications in Western herbs. She is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, the Naval Postgraduate School, and Naval War College. In 2005, she was selected as the top research analyst for the Department of Defense. She is currently a student at the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
